Young Adult Fiction Book 2 The Pumpkin Queen This is a sequel!! Read Long Live the Pumpkin Queen first! A wonder-filled story with excitement at every turn. What a fine way to continue the story of the characters from The Nightmare Before Christmas. Magical holiday realms, disastrous spells, daring adventures and the power of friendships help this story succeed. can't wait for the next book!

Onyx Storm (Standard Edition)

3rd book in series. The series started out good, with great world building, and strong characters. I like how some characters are making comebacks and growths and the main characters are building their relationship.

The Museum Of Failures

This is my second novel by this author, and I liked both, although I prefer Honor (the first book of hers I read.) I thought this one was a little bit too long, and better pacing and a more likeable title character would have bumped up my rating. Things tied up a little too neatly for me in this story.

Wrong Place, Wrong Time

Although I typically enjoy time travel novels, I wasn’t a fan of this one. It was convoluted and disconnected at times. The character development of the minor characters was weak. At least four times I had to search for characters mentioned to find out their significance to the storyline. I read to the end -I’m not a quitter - but it was a disappointing read for me.

Super interesting theory and very digestible yet scientific writing; I love this researcher.

Smile: A Graphic Novel
by Raina Telgemeier

The book Smile is a true story that happened to the author Raina Telgemeier. After a Girl Scouts meeting she falls and it causes a terrible accident. She had damaged her two front teeth. The book is all about her journey with having braces, surgery's, a retainer with fake teeth on it and much more. I enjoyed reading this book and would rate it five stars.

The Sellout

Eh. There were funny parts. The rest was just tangential and attempts to be over the top ludicrous. Didn't quite get the point he was trying to make.

Assist

Sexy, mature, and surprisingly vulnerable—Assist is more than a sports romance. It’s about love that meets you where you are and pushes you to be better. The chemistry is off the charts, but so is the heart.

The Breakaway

Another Jennifer Weiner book that does not disappoint! I loved the setting where the bike ride takes place (NY State) and Philly and NJ mentioned. A well-written story that has serious subject matter - a woman's struggle with self-image and also the topic of abortion. Loved it!

Tuesdays With Morrie

Phenomenal book the Iselin library Lisa recommended. I read in a day as the author pulls you in. College professors life and the impact of his legacy told by one of his college students. Lots of lessons learned and living life to the fullest.
